Upload guide: what photo works best

Best photo in one line: a clear photo of yourself with your head turned toward the camera.

• Pose and framing: This template is framed bent over, facing away, with your head turned toward the camera. Your face is kept from your photo; the pose and background come from the reference image.
• Eyes: Look toward the camera with your eyes open and your face unobstructed.
• Mouth: Keep your mouth area uncovered in the photo.
• One person only: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Outfit: Clothes follow the template scene, not your photo. Do not expect the outfit in your photo to carry over into the result.
• Light and sharpness: Use a recent, high-resolution photo with bright, even light on your face and sharp focus. Do not upload a screenshot with black bars or app buttons, a photo of a screen, or a heavily filtered photo that changes your face shape.
• Avoid: photos where your face is turned away or cut out, distant photos, dark or blurry photos.
